Yesterday the European Commission announced the expected news in reference to 2020 call for proposals and published the Erasmus+ programme guide 2020. EU budget funding 2020 of over €3 billion – compared with Erasmus+ budget 2019 – shows an increase of 12% this year. 2020 Erasmus+ budget will provide mobility and training opportunities for students, researchers and staff in all EU countries.
Erasmus+ call 2020 has also published the elegilibity of EU candidate countries that can fully take part in all Erasmus+ Programme actions. These are Turkey, Norht Macedonia and Serbia. There is also a note concerning the Erasmus+ programme and Brexit which we quote below:
“For British applicants: Please be aware that eligibility criteria must be complied with for the entire duration of the grant. If the United Kingdom withdraws from the EU during the grant period without concluding an agreement with the EU ensuring in particular that British applicants continue to be eligible, you will cease to receive EU funding (while continuing, where possible, to participate) or be required to leave the project on the basis of the relevant provisions of the grant agreement on termination”.
